5th Gear Technology Concepts and Byte Network Solutions Successfully Close Merger

NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 1, 2021 – 5th Gear Technology Concepts, Inc. announces the successful merger of two IT firms effective on July 1, 2021. The combined group will be known as 5^th Gear Technology Concepts, Inc. The 2 companies are geographically based in Nashville, TN.

5^th Gear was formed by 2 leading IT Managed Services firms that have been working together for a few years in various amounts of consulting between the two companies. The combined entity will become an industry-leading MSP with national scalability that maintains a local feel and roots within the community.

5^th Gear Technology’s existing President and CEO Glenn Porter will maintain his role in the organization, as will the existing Vice President of Operations Randy Wall. A newcomer to the board will be Byte Network Solutions’ Jay Lewis who will take on a new role as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at 5^th Gear.
